Although you and your fiancé are likely to be working closely together on your wedding plans, there are some jobs that traditionally are handled by the bride, and some which are usually the groom's domain.
BRIDE As the bride, your biggest concern is likely to be finding yourself a stunning dress, sourcing the perfect accessories and finding the right outfit for your bridesmaids but don't let these jobs be your sole focus. You have lots of work to do over the coming months.

GROOM There are some duties that have traditionally fallen under the groom's remit of responsibility. Obviously its up to you and your bride to decide just how stringently you wish to stick to the following list but it will give you an idea of the things that you may have to do.
Traditionally the groom has looked after things like the wedding cars and honeymoon. This may seem old fashioned but can be incredibly romantic. Why not speak to your fiancée about their dream car or ideal holiday vacation and go from there. Every girl loves an element of surprise!

THINGS TO DO TOGETHER Throughout your wedding you and your partner will have to keep the lines of communication open. Talk to each other about how you see your perfect day. This is meant to be the biggest day of your lives. Make sure it turns out the way you want it to by deciding together how you want to do the big things. Plan your date, the style of your wedding and the location of your service and reception together. Get these major decisions out of the way first and then start thinking about the finer details.
