To WPJA member Dylan McBurney, good wedding photography is unobtrusive, unscripted and unaffected. Working exclusively with available light, the acclaimed Northern Irish photographer mingles amongst the crowd to photograph from close proximity, yet remains uninvolved with the action, to deter any sort of posing or staged captures.

McBurney prefers the dramatic feel of black and white and his approach generates a collection of personal wedding images with the polish of a high-end documentary book project. This has definite appeal among his clients who love him for what he brings to their wedding day.
