The simple and classic styling of Ashley and Jame’s big day took our breath away.
The couple married and celebrated their reception at Castle Hume, Lough Erne Golf Resort, Enniskillen and wanted to create a ‘warm’ mood for the celebrations as Ashley reveals: “We wanted to use neutral tones with no fuss. We chose white chair covers with gold organza bows; each table had a large candelabra with fresh flowers and I choose a bright white flower for my bouquet to contrast with my dress. I don't like fussy decorations or flowers!”
Simple it may have been, but that didn’t stop this couple incorporating lots of finishing touches into the day as Ashley explains: “We had a caricaturist for the guests while we had our photos taken. I arrived by sea plane at the jetty and we had large muffin sized cupcakes as favours all boxed up with tissue paper and ribbons to match the wedding colours.”
So was it all worth the effort? “Absolutely,” exclaims Ashley. “We actually had the best day of our lives we were both so relaxed. I just decided to totally chill out and trust James to ensure all was organised and he did a fabulous job! We did so much preparation before the big day and it really paid off as we were both totally relaxed and just so happy to enjoy the day.”
