A taste of Thailand at Lough Erne

A visit to Lough Erne Resort's amazing Thai spa really is a five-star treat for body and soul. The resort may be famous for its golf, but it's the spa – the only wholly authentic Thai spa in the UK – that really does it in terms of pampering, high-end beauty treatments and relaxation.

As well as being utterly beautiful in its design, the treatments are unlike anything you will get elsewhere. With eight treatment rooms including a dual room for couples, friends or family, traditional Thai massage room complete with a specialist Thai massage couch, as well as six individual treatment rooms, the atmosphere is of spacious relaxation.

Monea Deep Relaxation Room

It's an ideal place for a bride-to-be to chill out after all the wedding preparations are sorted or for an engaged couple to celebrate impending nuptials, or enjoy a romantic break. It's also a brilliant venue for a girlie weekend.

You can even visit for individual treatments or avail of some of the excellent full and half-day packages and weekend break special offers.

The Thai Spa Treatment Corridor

All the therapists originate from and are trained in Thailand using traditional Thai techniques and Thai-made Lau Erb products, which are made from traditional and natural Thai remedies including herbs, flowers and roots to create a range of products that are dedicated to the wellbeing of the mind, body and soul.

The treatments on offer include: traditional Thai massages, ritual massages, mother-to-be treatments, treatments for men, golfers' treatments, exotic scrubs, botanical wraps, foot and hand therapies, wet treatments in The Mud Rasul and a range of Thai Spa signature treatments.

WJ can wholeheartedly recommend the Signature Thai Facial - a unique therapy designed for all skin types, including sensitive skins. Containing Asian botanical remedies with traditional application techniques, this treatment is the ultimate healing and nourishing therapy incorporating a traditional facial steam and massage with the application of the Thai herbal compress.

Traditional Thai Massage Room

This really did leave our sensitive looking fresh and moisturised. The therapist's firm, but soothing touch also extended to our lower arms and hands – all part and parcel of the treatment.

Before and after any treatment at Lough Erne, you are encouraged to relax in sumptuous, peaceful rooms where you are treated to fresh fruit and smoothies.

The Spa also offers a light refreshment menu. As well as expert treatments, guests at Lough Erne Resort can enjoy complimentary access to the Thermal Suite and stunning Infinity Swimming Pool which overlooks Castle Hume Lough.

Before or after your treatment, it's an amazing experience to enjoy the sauna, aromatherapy steam room and unmissable scented rainforest shower. There's even a whirlpool which can pummel or soothe your body – the choice is yours.

The Infinity Pool

Coupled with the fabulous eating and accommodation facilities available, Lough Erne offers an experience like no other.
