Dating back to the 17th century, Belle Isle Castle is hidden away in a 470 acre estate spread over eight picturesque islands.
The Castle itself is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and couples have a choice of three locations within the grounds where they can take their vows – the stunning hall, drawing room or sunken garden.
Wedding parties are asked to book accommodation for a minimum of three nights. While the castle itself can accommodate up to 14 people, there is other nearby accommodation options for additional guests.

St Clerans Manor House, Co. Galway St Clerans is the former home of the late director, screenwriter and actor John Huston and was once described by the Oscar winner as ‘one of the most beautiful houses in Ireland’. The 18th century manor house is set in 45 acres of grounds and was once the home to Huston’s famous actress daughter Anjelica.
The venue, which has 12 bedrooms, can be hired by the day and the dining room caters for 40 people for formal dining or a buffet for 60.
