Narrow Water Castle, Co. Down
Stunning formal gardens with beautiful views of the Cooley Mountains and Carlingford Lough provide the backdrop for Narrow Water Castle. Built in the early 1800s, the Elizabethan revival style is the ideal venue for your wedding.

Wedding facilities: Civil ceremonies can take place either in the castle's Vaulted Cellars, lit by candles and soft lighting, or in the gardens surrounded by rhododendrons. Wedding receptions of up to 180 guests also have the option of using the Vaulted Cellars for their evening wedding entertainment.
There is also the elegantly dressed, chandelier-lit, open-plan garden marquee, which can accommodate wedding receptions of up to 200 people with a dance floor, bar area and catering tent.
It's worth noting that the Castle has no catering facilities or on-site accommodation but is conveniently located one mile from Warrenpoint and four miles from Newry,

Galgorm Resort and Spa, Co. Antrim
Galgorm Resort & Spa is set in 163 acres of lush parkland on the banks of the River Mainemaking it a wonderful wedding venue with endless opporunities for spectacular wedding photographs.
Wedding facilities: The Great Hall which is separate to the main hotel can hold up to 300 wedding guests. Borris House, Co. Carlow
Borris House is one of the few Irish estates that can trace its history back to the royal families of ancient Ireland. Set in a walled private park this private and historic house can be exclusively yours for your wedding day.
Hosting only one wedding per week, you get to put your individual stamp on your special day and do something a little bit different to everyone else.
The house can hold up to 200 wedding guests in the west wing, 70 in the dining room and weddings over 200 can be accommodated in a marquee in the gardens. Outside caterers are needed and wedding parties can either choose from the recommended panel of wedding caterers or bring in their own.

The House is also licenced to hold civil ceremonies on site. The beautifully decorated Georgian chapel of St Moling, which is nestled in the east gardens, is also available for blessings and Anglican wedding ceremonies.
