Trash the Dress - Sabrina & Justin get wet & wild

Wanting something a little bit different than the traditional wedding pictures Sabrina and Justin McConnell decided to pick up on a popular American wedding trend and Trash the Dress.

"We both prefer fun photos and thought what better way to show our personalities than rolling around the beach!" says Sabrina. "Our photographers Louise and Lewis from Black Box photo are very creative and we knew they would love it as much as we did."

The day after the wedding, Sabrina and Justin snuck off before their after party and met their photographers at Rossnowlagh Beach in Donegal. "We got changed in our jeep. It's very hard to get into a wedding dress in the front seat," laughs Sabrina. "We didn't tell anyone we were doing it which was so much fun.

"The shoot was brilliant craic, we rolled around the sand, built sand castles, repeated our first dance on the sand and in the water, hid through the reeds, ran through the water, got soaked and loved every minute of it!

"We would highly recommend Trash the Dress, as we got to have so much fun with it,. Every bride wants to put on their wedding dress again, and what a great excuse to," says Sabrina. "I even got to have a sand fight and soak my new husband!"

Just in case you're worried about Sabrina's gorgeous dress – she's just picked it up from the dry cleaners and it's in perfect condition!
