Wedding Journal is delighted to announce Caroline Mussen as the winner of Wedding Journals' Cover Bride competition.

27 year old Caroline gave up her dreams of pursuing a modelling career when she became a young mum aged just 17 but Wedding Journal has just made her dreams come true by crowning her the winner of our coveted Cover Bride competition.

Caroline, who is now a busy mum of three and lives in Rathfriland is getting married in October and was overwhelmed to have won the competition.

Speaking about winning the prize Caroline said:

“I was totally shocked when I got a call to say I had won the competition, it was like a dream come true for me and the experience to date has been amazing. Stepping out onto the catwalk in front of hundreds of people was thrilling, I've never experienced anything like it. I was taught how to do the model walk and I had my hair and make-up done which was great, I felt like a real model and I had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again in Belfast.”

Caroline's prize included:

• a Justin Alexander wedding dress
• a catwalk appearance at The Wedding Journal Show in Dublin & Belfast
• a professional make-over and cover shoot for the summer issue of Wedding Journal magazine
