2015 Golden Globes Bridal Inspiration
This year the 2015 Golden Globes where all about the white dress…
Some say Hollywood is all about the films but we say it’s all about the dresses!
Last night’s Golden Globes Awards signaled the start of one of our favourite times of year – awards season. Stunning ballgowns, fitted bodices, intricate beading… the red carpet was a sea of bridal-inspired dresses from some of the industry’s top designers.
Our favourites included Rosamund Pike, who stood out amoungst the crowds in her backless Vera Wang gown and highlighted her already svelte post-baby frame.
Reese Witherspoon’s slinky, metallic Calvin Klein also caught our eye, especially as it was reportedly accessorized with just under £1 million worth of Tiffany & Co jewels.
Here’s our pick of the best bridal looks from the red carpet…
We absolutely adore this stunning Grecian style gown that Emily Blunt wore.
Could peplum tops be about to make their bridal debut?
Shades of nude are the perfect alternative to white this year.
Any bride would be proud of this princess inspired ball gown. Swap the cold metal belt for a diamante sash to bring the look into bridal fashion.
We heard a whisper that cut-out paneling detail is going to be huge on the bridal runway next season.
Shimmer and sparkle, Reese Witherspoon is bang on trend with glittering metallics.
We love the expert draping on Camill Alve’s blush gown.
Who else thinks Kristen Wiig’s dress would not look out of place at a destination beach wedding? The butterfly detail is the perfect whimsical touch!
Fit and flare really flatters Kate Hudson’s slimline figure giving her the perfect silhouette.
Metallics are back and we’re loving this form fitting sheath dress on Ellie Kemper.
