Bridal Worthy Looks From The Baftas
The biggest names in British Television came together on Sunday night at the Royal Festival Hall, London, for the annual British Academy Television Awards (BAFTAS) where the stars seriously turned up the style stakes.
We take a look at the most wedding worthy looks from the most highly anticipated and glamorous evenings in the TV calendar.
A red-carpet pro, Holly Willoughby looked every inch the Hollywood siren in her Baby Blue Roland Mouret fitted gown, completed with jewels from William & Sons. Why not follow the old bridal tradition from wearing ‘something blue’ on your wedding day, like this pastel coloured creation that Holly donned.
Dare to Bare
for those daring brides-to-be, take inspiration from Victoria Secret model Leomie Anderson. Leomie wowed in a 90’s inspired white asymmetric dress with sleek hair, striking the right balance of sultry and elegant.
Further wedding inspiration came from former soap-star and actress Anna Friel. Anna wore a 1950’s inspired ballet length tea dress, whilst also ticking the monochrome bridal trend for 2018. Complete with a contrasting bold lip, lace detailing and bridal favourite shoes by Sophia Webster, Anna is giving us serious vintage bridal inspiration.
Pretty in Pastels
Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, who sported her blossoming baby bump, glowed in a bardot style lilac lace dress by Jarlow. This tone of pastel purple is a hot trend tipped for 2018 brides-to-be, with similar tones used by designers such as Hailey Paige, for her dreamy 2018 collection.
Another Hollyoaks star that stole the show was the gorgeous Amanda Clapham. The TV beauty wore a white sheath fitted dress with a sheer embellished top and flowing puddle train, giving her an enviable wedding aisle-ready look.
Vanessa Kirby (who is rumoured to be dating Tom Cruise!) stunned in this relaxed and ethereal style gown. Perfect for a modern bohemian style bride, the pastel tone of this gown adds an element of femininity and romance.
