Built in the 19th century arising from the marriage proposal of John James Lecky to Sarah Lucia Smith. Built with love; today Ballykealey House offers a picturesque and enchanting venue for couples seeking a unique venue to host their wedding.

Ballykealey House can hold up to 250 people in their ballroom suite. For smaller wedding celebrations there’s the magnificent Oak Room with original Tudor architecture and magnificent oak carved panels, as well as the Cobden Suite which both offer something different depending on your numbers.

If it is an outdoor ceremony you have been dreaming of, Ballykealey House have a number beautiful outdoor options available, the stunning lawn, fountain or newly opened barn area.

You can also choose to have your drinks reception in the impressive manor house or, weather permitting in one of their beautiful outdoor locations.

The manor house has 12 individually appointed rooms, 2 garden suites and 14 self-catering lodges, providing accommodation for 95 guests onsite. Ballykealey House also work closely with local accommodation transport suppliers all within 15 minutes of the venue to ensure all your guests are looked after.

Ballykealey House is available for exclusive use hire, but this is not a requirement to host your wedding.
