The Lawrence is Meath’s newest boutique hotel and includes a Gastropub, small events lounge and Fine Dining venue. It is situated in the small market town of Athboy and offers a unique one-stop shopping experience in terms of all the needs for the perfect wedding.
This venue offers a walk through our social repertoire from the old 1870s bar to the new world glamour of the 1920s. The sophistication of this era sweeps you off your feet as you enter the beautifully formed wedding venue which has wonderful architecture in keeping with the designers of the time, Mackintosh custom made doors, lights that sparkle and a look that provides the perfect backdrop for photographic moments as well as gastro. This area has a separate entry with a stone courtyard perfect for a champagne reception and even an outdoor civil ceremony. This area accommodates up to 70 guests. The site also boasts the ability to erect a marquee for 150 guests and a charming garden provides a private secluded area.
Our wedding packages are proposed after we have met with you and discussed your specific requirements as we feel this is the way to make your special day perfect! An exploration weekend is offered so that you can come along, sample what we do and meet with our wedding planner.
