The story of the wedding dress starts somewhere around the 1900s, when people decided that it should be a) white and b) special.
Since then, we haven’t quite lost sight of the white and special parts, but we’ve certainly added a few chapters. From full, frothy bustles to the sleekest sheath styles, the designs have been chopped and changed, spun and spruced but the dress itself has remained a central character of any wedding day.
