Bridal wear inspiration straight from the red carpet

The stars were out in force last night for the TV BAFTA Awards 2016 at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Here is our four favourite bridal wear looks from the red carpet…

1. Asymmetrical hem

Celebs such as actress Helen George, presenter Tess Daly, and The Only Way is Essex star Sam Faiers opted for the high-lo hemline.

Asymmetrical wedding dresses have a higher hem at the front and dip at the back to give brides the best of both worlds; a traditional dress with a modern edge.

2. Strapless

Reality TV stars Lucy Mecklenburgh and Binkly Felstead looked stunning in strapless styles.

The ball gown wedding dress is without doubt the most popular strapless silhouette in 2016 collections and brides-to-be who love this look really are spoilt for choice.

3. Thigh slit

From plunging necklines to backless – sexy styles are in, and the thigh split wedding dress has recently been added to the mix.

Tess Daly and Rochelle Humes rocked the look last night.

4. Watteau train

Elegant and glamorous, the watteau train is attached to the the back of the dress at the neckline and ‘floats’ gracefully as you walk.

As worn by Amanda Holden.
