Vintage Romance

Add a stylish flair to your romantic Valentine’s celebrations with a contrasting colour and vintage touches. Make use of classic red with roses, and candles for richness and depth and contrast with soft pastel pinks, leafy greens and baby blues for a contemporary look. This  beautiful blue works perfectly, especially when paired with metallic gold accents for a chic twist that oozes vintage grace. Opt for some antique and ornate jewellery boxes that you may have in your home for your table decor and fill with desserts such as these perfectly proportioned macaroons below- recycling at it’s finest!

Valentine’s Day is synonymous with pink and red. Add Valentine’s touches by using red roses and pink peonies in your bouquet and floral arrangements as well as heart-shaped accents sprinkled throughout your decor. Take inspiration from this ruby red wild bouquet, and bring your floral arrangements to the top table like this chair garland below dotted with heart shaped Valentine’s messages in elegant gold calligraphy- elegant, sophisticated and stylish! Why not spread the love to your guests and opt for romantic wedding favours, we personally love the use of these Rose pink Chandon wines with heart tags as little gifts!

Set the scene for your big day, and give your family and friends a valentine’s day themed invitation to truly wow guests! Take inspiration from Old World French romance and stick to hand-written calligraphy and water colour style roses to encapsulate the theme and give them a taste of what is to come. Keep this consistent throughout the decor on the day, such as table place names as seen below. To add a modern flair to your big day, why not make use of chic metallic balloons, one of the hottest wedding decor trends for 2018! These ‘XO’ balloons not only look great, but they are insanely ‘instagrammable’ for you and your guests!
