Irish model, TV presenter and DJ Vogue Williams is officially engaged to Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews!

The news broke last week that Spencer proposed to Vogue after a romantic trip to the Lyceum Theatre in London following a showing of The Lion King. The couple watched the show from the best seats in the house, before embarking on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre. The tour then came to an end on the beautifully lit-up stage where Spencer surprised Vogue by getting down on one knee- how adorable!?

The couple met on Channel 4’s winter sports completion The Jump in 2017 and their relationship has gone from strength to strength, even moving in together last October.

The Made in Chelsea star gushed about the proposal:

‘I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit. The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!’

The couple were quick to share the good news with all of their followers, posting an image on Instagram. Vogue looked over-the-moon in the post showing off her £150k bespoke designed ring, simply captioning it with two hearts and a ring, tagging Spencer. Spencer also uploaded the same image with the words ‘SHE SAID YES’ along with a love heart.

Spencer chose a gold trilogy ring for his bride-to-be, which Vogue certainly seemed impressed with! She posted a photo of the sparkler, commenting ‘I can’t stop staring…@spencermatthews you’ve found your calling in life, I want you designing all of my jewellery from now on.’

The Newly-engaged couple have since jetted back to Vogue’s native Dublin to toast their upcoming nuptials. The pair arrived at the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday, the first time they had been snapped together since sharing the good news. They then headed out to Dublin City Centre with friends, where Vogue took to the decks for the opening of her friend Conor McCrohan’s nightspot R.I.O.T on Aston Quay.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
