A few years ago, your big day at a hotel and spa probably wouldn’t have left you with much time to enjoy the pampering facilities, but things are definitely changing.

Now with the changing style of weddings, we’re seeing more and more couples opting for an extended wedding, inviting a smaller number of guests to share their nuptial celebrations for 3-4 days instead of just one.

With honeymoons restricted to closer to home, an extended wedding is the perfect opportunity to chill out after all the hyper-excitement of the wedding day itself and enjoy relaxing with your nearest and dearest.

So don’t be in a hurry to pack your bag and rush off without taking advantage of everything your hotel has to offer – and take the time to unwind with your new other half!
