Based in Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny, the Loving Weddings styling team are facing 2022 full of fresh passion for all things weddings. We caught up with owner and creative stylist Gráinne (also known as G) who has always approached weddings with a different mindset to general styling for events.
In addition to their mobile styling service, G wanted to provide a warm and welcoming consultation and trial space, to meet with ladies ahead of their big day, seeking as much details as possible in order to provide the optimum plan.
With more than 27 years in the hairdressing/wedding industry, G has seen many different aspects of styling. Her approach has always been very bride centric and its ultimately about ensuring that brides-to-be enjoy every second of the styling experience and with robust pre-planning and scheduling, herself and her team can achieve this in abundance!
G also goes one step further to ensure that the styling team remain by the bride’s side until the very last moments before she leaves to embark on a new chapter with the
partner of her dreams.
From Grainne’s experience, she knows the value of being present for final touch-ups and having an extra pair of hands to help fix button holes, do up the many buttons on the back of the dress, `as I am the only one in the room with short nails!’, she laughs.
G prides herself on sharing a close bond with her brides-to-be, even long after the wedding. She is very privileged to share in one of the most intimate and personal experiences of a girl’s life and that’s why her passion is to ensure everyone gets VIP treatment to look and feel amazing on their day!
