Avril Lavigne, said yes to fellow pop-punk rocker Mod Sun, after he popped the question under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The couple confirmed the news on their Instagram pages with a series of loved-up snaps in the City of Love. A close-up of the engagement ring shows a huge heart-shaped diamond set on a band of smaller diamonds – it really is a show-stopper!
Mod Sun penned a beautiful poem that he shared within his Instagram post confirming the engagement:
“The day we met I knew you were the one.
Together forever til our days are done.
I had a dream where I proposed in Paris.
I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it.
I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes.
You’re too beautiful for my words to describe.
I grabbed your hand + took one last breath…
I said “will you marry me?” + she said “yes”.
