Perfect Day proprietor Bernie O’Neill has just launched a new range of bridal accessories and is offering an exclusive discount to Wedding Journal readers.
When Perfect Day proprietor Bernie O’Neill had to close her doors during the lockdown, she didn’t stay idle. Instead she used the time to launch her own new range of bridal accessories under the brand Soon2beMrs. It’s now going from strength to strength, selling across the UK via a dedicated website and also proving popular in the bridal store itself.
“I set it up during the lockdown to give me something to do,” Bernie says.
“I just wanted to have a range of bridal accessories that were very affordable, but looked more expensive, so I launched a brand called Soon2beMrs.
“I felt that coming out of lockdown lots of girls might not want to spend £200 on a headpiece, so I wanted to give them something that was really nice and was not as expensive.
“So it’s everything from £9 to £69, including jewellery and headpieces.”

“Once we opened the shop again, we launched it into the Perfect Day shop and it’s going really well, both online and on the site,” she says.
“Brides like the fact that it’s good quality, affordable and it really looks the part.”
Bernie is keen to ensure that new stock comes in regularly and is always looking for new ideas to add to the range.
“I’m always interested in feedback about what they’re interested in so that I can try to sort it,” she says.
“We have headpieces, necklaces, earrings and bracelets, as well as flower girl headpieces.”

Bernie says pearls are proving very popular at the moment.
“A lot of people are looking for pearls and a bit of sparkle, a more classic look. They’re not into big headpieces, it’s more fine and delicate,” she says.
“I sell a few nice earrings for bridesmaids and the mums will also buy some of the earrings.
“The mums tend to go for necklaces and earrings, while the brides tend to like earrings and bracelets.”
