The couple had their hopes dashed when their original date in April was unable to go ahead, however they have been able to realise their dream in the pretty Laganview garden at the Crowne Plaza Belfast in a beautiful, intimate ceremony which adhered to the prescribed number and social distance guidelines.
Roleen, a teacher originally from South Africa and Alan an engineer from Northern Ireland met whilst working in China in, you guessed it, a pub watching the rugby! Alan proposed in the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden Cape Town making their garden wedding even more poignant for the happy couple.
Speaking after the afternoon ceremony, the couple, said: “We had an amazing day, it was really special and we’re so appreciative to the team at Crowne Plaza for pulling out all the stops to make the ceremony so special for us.”
