The Park Avenue Hotel, one of the most established hotels and wedding destinations in Belfast is holding a right Royal affair to celebrate Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle’s wedding this Saturday, 19th May.
Julian Simmons will host the Royal Wedding event like no other in the hotel’s Cranethorpe Suite – one of the most popular venues where couples have been celebrating their special day since 1956!
Wedding décor specialists, SBD Events will be decorating the venue while guests can enjoy the build-up, ceremony and all the post-nuptial pomp of the day on a huge 15ft screen. Guests will also enjoy a glass of bubbles to toast the happy couple, followed by a two-course lunch after the ceremony and entertainment from the Victory Rollers into the evening.
Julian has been the local voice of Royal Weddings since the 1980s when he was UTV’s continuity announcer on the day of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s vows in 1981. The event comes as Park Avenue Hotel launches White Weddings, an extension of the Marco Pierre White brand in Northern Ireland bringing an exclusive wedding day experience to couples looking for something different.
The legendary Marco Pierre White steaks will be on the White Weddings menu, sourced from local producers, with other options including lamb and vegetarian dishes that have recently been revamped on the summer 2018 menu.
The Park Avenue Hotel Royal Wedding Party begins at 10:30am on Saturday 19th May, continuing until 5pm.
