Freddie Hatchet is one of the few suit hire providers that actually source and manufacture its own range of suits. They take pride in sourcing only the finest fabrics from across the globe before having their suits made by some of Europe’s top tailoring manufacturers.
In their stores you will find suits that simply cannot be found anywhere else with all of their ranges exclusive to their own label. Plus, with over 100 years of combined experience in wedding tailoring, the team bring unrivaled expertise to choosing the looks you wear on your special day.
We asked proprietor William Stewart what suiting was proving to be most popular at the moment?
‘There is a huge demand for tuxedos,’ comments William. ‘We offer a wide selection of tuxedos in various colours, including shades of green and burgundy, to add some variety. Our collection features different jacket styles and waistcoat designs, such as horseshoe or double-breasted options, so that the groom can adapt his look to stand out from everyone else. There’s also the option to choose a dress shirt with black buttons for example, to add something slightly different to the groom’s attire.’
‘Amongst our selection, we also have a tweed-style suit crafted from brushed lambswool. This lightweight material makes it suitable for year-round wear, perfect for grooms seeking a classic, yet comfortable look,’ he adds.
Freddie Hatchet can offer grooms a selection of matching suits to either buy or hire. If a minimum of four suits are hied, the groom then gets to buy his own suit half price.

A One-Stop Shop
Freddie Hatchet also have all of the finishing touches you need for your look. From shirts to shoes, ties to tie pins, they can help build your complete look for the wedding day.
‘We’ve recently introduced a new 100% luxury cotton shirt to our line-up, available in slim, tailored, and regular fits. This ensures there’s a fit for everyone, helping the groom and groomsmen co-ordinate their wedding day attire seamlessly,’ William adds.

A Shopping Experience
‘Our goal is to deliver an elevated experience. As well as top quality suits, everyone experiences our unique brand of hospitality as they shop with a bottle beer in hand! This really stamps us out from our competitors and is one of the reasons we tend to have groomsmen return here for their own wedding suits when the time comes because they enjoyed the process so much.’

New Dublin Store
In addition to our stores in Belfast and Cookstown, Freddie Hatchet opened a new location in Dublin this February. Situated on Malahide Road, D17, this new store allows us to bring our distinctive style throughout Ireland. We recommend booking an appointment in advance.
