The couple are said to have tied the knot on Saturday at a private ceremony held at their lavish Hamptons home on Long Island, New York. They confirmed the big news with a simple Instagram picture of the two touching hands wearing their new matching wedding bands, to which fans rushed to offer the couple their congratulations.

No pictures have yet been released; however a source has said that Gwyneth looked ‘stunning’ on their big day as she wore a custom designed wedding gown down the aisle. In images of Gwyneth’s back garden, there appeared to be three tents – one for the ceremony, one for the reception and one for the staff. There also seemed to be a catering truck on the grounds from Olivier Cheng in New York City.
The couple, who have been together for four years after meeting on the set of Glee, were joined by a string of A-listers including Robert Downey Jnr, Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfield and, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden.

Whilst Gwyneth and former husband Chris Martin – who is the front man of Coldplay-, had an amicable split, the musician was not at the wedding of his ex-wife as he was performing at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park over the weekend.
The couple revealed they were in a relationship in 2015 and announced their engagement earlier this year on the cover of Paltrow’s Goop magazine. Fans have since been eagerly waiting for the big occasion.
