Moisturise Regularly: Use a good quality hand cream or lotion to keep your hands hydrated. Apply it after washing your hands and before bed.
Protect Your Hands: Wear gloves when doing household chores, especially when using harsh chemicals or when washing dishes. This helps prevent dryness and damage.
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate your hands once a week to remove dead skin cells. You can use a sugar scrub or a homemade mixture of olive oil and sugar.
Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen to your hands to protect them from UV damage, which can lead to premature aging and dark spots.
Healthy Diet: Maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly those that promote skin health, such as vitamins A, C, and E.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.
Limit Water Exposure: Prolonged exposure to water can dry out your skin. Try to limit the time your hands spend in water and dry them thoroughly afterward.

Obviously your nails also contribute to the appearance of your hands, and whether you do it yourself or with the help of a nail technician, a regular file and polish will maintain their health and ensure they look good.
