The dress, the suit, the celebrity guests… this is the modern fairytale wedding we’ve ALL been waiting for!
It’s official… Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz tied the knot over the weekend with a three-day long celebration which is most definitely setting the tone for glamourous celebrity weddings in 2022!
The two shared some adorable photographs on Instagram from their big wedding weekend at Nicola’s father’s Palm Beach estate in Florida.
It was a combination of Britain’s most famous (and fashionable!) families which included A-list celebrities such as Serena and Venus Williams, Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham’s former bandmates from The Spice Girls – Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
The bride wore a custom-made Valentino gown which she described as her ‘dream dress’. It featured a square neckline, sweeping train and included an evil eye symbol and message from her mother, former model Claudia Peltz that was stitched into the gown with blue thread.
British Vogue captured the day and noted that the ‘romantic, traditional-with-a-twist gown is the culmination of a year’s worth of conversations between the bride, Peltz’s stylist and Valentino creative director’s team.’
Made from duchess satin, the dress consisted of an open back, sleek silhouette and full skirt and Nicola completed the look with long laced gloves and a matching lace veil as well as platform heels by Versace. Her stylist Leslie Fremar helped put the look together – and fans were not disappointed!
Nicola looked like a dream in her wedding photographs and Vogue described her hair style as ‘an ode to Claudia Schiffer in the ’90s’. Her stylist Adir Abergel said Brigitte Bardot’s half ponytail also served inspiration.
The bride told Vogue magazine: ‘I always thought I wanted my hair half up, half down, but we’re going for long bangs with loose, natural hair.’
We’re also loving Nicola’s natural makeup by Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee who told Vogue that she decided on a fresh and natural ‘barely-there’ look with a few interesting details that will pop under the veil.
Brooklyn’s dad David Beckham reportedly cried while giving a five minute heartfelt speech at the reception while the best men, Brooklyn’s brother’s Romeo and Cruz also delivered speeches.
Victoria Beckham went for an unconventional Mother of the Groom look for the big day wearing a sexy silver slip dress with a low cut neckline. She walked hand in hand with David Beckham who looked sleek in a classic black tuxedo.
It has also been said the newlyweds had their first dance to Elvis’s classic ‘Only Fools Rush In’ performed by Lloyiso.
Marc Anthony handled supposedly handled the DJ decks and spinned tunes to the likes of actors Rashida Jones and Kiernan Shipka, and the filmmakers M Night Shyamalan and Michael Bay as well as Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalie Bryant.
It was also said that the couple invited their guests to make a donation to the Ukrainian people in need through their agency Care.
