The millionaire footballer popped the question in front of his three children, and Kate shared the gorgeous post to her own 913,000 followers.
Kate confirmed the news with a gorgeous picture of the pair kissing, captioned: “The perfect end to our holiday … How could the answer not be yes.”

Rio had previously shared that they were talking about marriage regularly, but insisted they were in no rush to tie the knot.
Rio spoke openly about the positive impact Kate has had on his three children, Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine, and Tia, seven, since his late wife Rebecca Ellison died in 2015 after a battle of cancer when she was just 34.
The former TOWIE star had spoken out about her close relationship with the children, revealing they are keen for her to have a baby so they have another sibling to play with.
Becoming a Step-Mother
Kate works hard to keep Rebecca’s memory alive. Speaking during an appearance on This Morning in May, she said: ‘You only have one mum, their mum is irreplaceable.
‘There’s a special room in the house, for their [late] mum and their nan – sometimes they do homework there for example.’
‘We always celebrate Rebecca’s birthday, we all go to cemetery together. We do talk about their mum, that’s so important to me and to them.’

The family had been holidaying in Abu Dhabi and Rio asked Kate to be his wife on the rooftop of the luxurious St. Regis Hotel.
We expect they’ll get stuck into wedding planning quickly, with their wedding potentially taking place next summer. We can’t wait!
