Imagine getting married in a 17th century castle on an enchanted private island on the shores of Upper Lough Erne, in Fermanagh! At Belle Isle, we can make your wedding dreams come true.
Tell us about how you started getting involved with the Wedding Journal Show and how it’s been so far?
We were delighted to attend the Wedding Journal Show in Belfast for the first time in 2022, allowing us to amplify the hidden gem that is our 17th Century Castle & Estate.
Could you explain a bit more about what you specialise in and what makes you different from others?
Belle Isle Castle is the embodiment of romantic, old-world charm. The estate which has been inhabited since the 12th century welcomes you with over 400 acres of lush Fermanagh countryside, tranquil gardens and views of Lough Erne which create a magical backdrop for your wedding. If you would like to host a large and lavish wedding with guest numbers between 66 – 180, our beautiful Summer Wedding marquee on the lawn is the perfect option for you. Nestled alongside our ancient woodland, with flowing white chiffon interiors and glazed elevations, overlooking the sparkling shores of Upper Lough Erne, Belle Isle Summer Wedding marquee makes for the most spectacular venue! For a more intimate affair, our unique and magical 17th century castle is the perfect venue for a memorable wedding for a smaller number of guests. Inside the castle, the majestic Grand Hall can host a wedding of up to 65 people.
With a choice of indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, elegant drawing rooms for drinks receptions and accommodation for 30 guests in the castle itself, make your wedding event truly unique at Belle Isle Estate. On the estate, we can also accommodate up to 63 additional wedding guests in our courtyard cottages, coach houses and waterside lodges, if you wish to have the entire estate & private island exclusively all to yourselves.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
We are very much looking forward to meeting new couples and telling them all about our new Summer Wedding Marquee, our special Winter Wedding Package and a fantastic promotional offer which will we have exclusively for couples who come to see us at the show and enquire about having their wedding at Belle Isle Estate.
How does the show help develop your company?
Attending the Wedding Journal Show in Belfast gives us the platform to showcase our wedding venue to a wider audience in Northern Ireland, which allows us to inform more couples about our special wedding venue and everything we can offer.
What can brides expect this year?
We will have a special offer running exclusively for couples who enquire with us at our stall at the Wedding Journal Show this year. If couples meet us and enquire with us at the show, and subsequently book their wedding at Belle Isle, we will provide a promotional offer of complimentary drinks reception of prosecco, tea, coffee & shortbread for all guests on the day of their wedding (whether they book the marquee or the castle for their wedding). How have you seen the bridal industry change over the past couple years?
Brides & Grooms are now looking for something truly unique & special for their wedding, a wonderfully memorable experience in a brilliant location and spectacular views, all of which we can offer here at Belle Isle Estate.
Why should any couples go to your stand on the day?
On the day, couples will have the chance to meet the team in person, see and hear all about our truly unique wedding venue, all of the options we have available for their big day and we will be able to answer all any questions that couples may have about hosting their very own unique wedding at Belle Isle. Couples who come to see us on the day will also find out about our promotional offer as well as having a chance to enter into a competition for a complimentary stay in one of our 2 bedroom self-catering cottages on the estate.
