Newly founded store, As You Do Weddings will be joining us at the Wedding Journal Show this September and October and to celebrate they are partnering with us to give one lucky bride the chance to win a wedding dress to the value of £2,000 and one groom a suit to the value of £500.
They are more than just a typical bridal store; they also provide high-quality groomswear so you can get the best of both worlds!
To enter visit the Wedding Journal Instagram page for all of the details, however, the competition doesn’t close until Monday 2nd October so you can also visit their stand E18 at the show, scan a QR Code which will take you to the Instagram page and you can enter across the weekend of the show too. We catch up with owners Shauny and Jen to discover what else they will be offering on the day at the Wedding Journal Show.
“We opened As You Do in June 2023 and are loving every minute of it! Jen, our suit stylist, has over 7 years’ experience of working in menswear, specialising in wedding and occasion suits!
“Although Shauny also worked in suits briefly, it was always planning weddings and wedding dresses that was her passion! She looks after all things bridal at As You Do and has over 10 years’ experience in the retail and hospitality industry!
“Both of us have had a dream to open a suit shop and wedding dress shop, so we are lucky our paths crossed! Although we have different specialities, one thing we both have is a passion for is creating a memorable customer experience here at As You Do!”
We asked the brand what makes them different from others within the industry.
“We are a one stop shop for both brides and grooms. We have that edge whereby when you come in to buy the groom’s suit, we know the theme for the wedding, the colours and the bride’s dress of course!
“This helps us create the perfect look for the wedding. We currently stock Remus Uomo and Marc Darcy suits! Each designer has something a little bit different- the classiness of Remus and the quirky tweeds and patterns of Marc Darcy means we have something for everyone!

- Prizes are a wedding dress for one bride worth up to £2,000 and suiting for one groom worth up to £500 from As You Do Weddings in Magheralin. If a dress or suit is chosen that is less than the prize value the remaining balance cannot be redeemed in a voucher/cash.
- Suiting is available within a matter of days therefore there is no time constraints, however due to the time required to order a wedding dress the winning bride must be getting married after 1st May 2024.
- The prizes are non transferable and there is no cash alternative
