Royal Wedding Might Be Cancelled!

Princess Beatrice

We love a Royal wedding. The Pomp and ceremony! The designer gown! Seeing all the celebrity guests roll in in their outfits! But Princess Beatrice’s wedding due to take place on May 29th could be a much quieter affair.

The princess was due to marry her beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, with the Queen hosting their reception at Buckingham Palace, but due to new Church Of England instructions on the Coronavirus pandemic, the princess may only be allowed to have two guests attend her ceremony.

The Church Of England has advised that the number of people attending church weddings during the Coronavirus should be limited to five – the bride and groom, the minister and two witnesses.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the couple have already decided to put their reception on hold and are seeking advice on holding a smaller ceremony.

Shame, a Royal Wedding would have been the perfect antidote to all the current doom and gloom!
