What is a ‘Deconstructed Wedding Cake’?
Many of these cakes are not tall tiered, but instead assembled with different shapes and sizes. Brides and grooms can opt for different combinations and styles such as cupcakes, single tier cakes, double-tiered cakes and a bunch of smaller cakes together.
This trend is arising as a lot of brides and grooms are prefering the more informal approach to weddings. For example, you might want to have smaller numbers at your wedding and would therefore prefer to have the availability of cupcakes and a cake for your guests. You might also want to have a small, unique cake for photographs and then another varying flavours of cupcakes, cakes or pastries for guests to eat. More importantly, this can make the table look much more unique and attractive for guests.
