We check out those stunning gowns showcased in the E4 reality show – and help you to find something similar.
We’ve been glued to our TVs, agog at the latest series of Married At First Sight UK.
Viewers have witnessed weeks of drama and explosive rows on the E4 show, as brides and grooms from across the country took to the aisle to wed a complete stranger before settling into married life in hopes of finding their happy-ever-after.
But most importantly – if you’re a bride-to-be – what did the reality show brides wear down the aisle? And how can you track down something similar for your own big day?
Nikita’s had a rollercoaster ride on the show so far -and was even kicked off after an explosive row, only to rejoin the show later on after apologising for her aggressive behaviour.
But let’s face it, we did love her stunning ornate lace figure-hugging gown, complete with tulle mermaid overskirt, above left. You can get her look with this Cain lace trumpet gown with exposed boning and sweetheart neckline from Justin Alexander, right.
Mum-of-two Marilyse has embarked on married life with ex-pat Franky who lives in Dubai, a long-distance leap of faith that could make life distinctly tricky.
At her ceremony, she looked stunning in this beautiful fitted column gown with bateau neckline and lace cut-out side detail. Steal her style with this slim fitted A-line crepe gown with high neckline, style 7375 from Mark Lesley Bridals, right.
Essex-born Morag struggled to conceal her disappointment when she met Luke at the altar for the first time, describing his dress sense as a huge turn-off.
But there’s no denying she hit all the right notes with her own deep plunge V-neck Marilyn-esque gown – WITH pockets, of course! This elegant Rosette gown in mikado with its full circle skirt from Enzoani will certainly turn heads on your big day. And yes, it has pockets too!
Alexis has had a turbulent time on the show so far after splitting up with Jordon following their return from honeymoon, only to reappear back on the show with Ant Poole as a new couple.
You certainly can’t beat her eye for a beautiful dress as she took to the aisle in this gorgeous lace off-shoulder fit-and-flare gown with sweetheart neckline. If you love it, why not try on this French tulle fit-and-flare wedding dress with scalloped train, style D3114 from Essense of Australia, also available in plus sizes.
But we loved her unusual boho lace fit-and-flare gown with illusion bateau neckline and sweetheart bodice beneath – for something in the same style, why not check out this Drita boho lace wedding dress with deep scalloped train by Maggie Sottero?
Tayah and Adam are well there in the most-likely-to-make-it stakes, and it’s clear that estate agent Tayah has an eye for a good dress as well as a good man, choosing this beautiful minimalist off-shoulder gown for the ceremony.
The Bardot-esque off-shoulder look is very on point at the moment, so check out this sweetheart neckline wedding dress with off-the-shoulder straps, style 7363 by Stella York, right.
She’s undoubtedly one of the biggest Marmite characters of the series so far, even cheating on partner Bob at the first dinner party with Jordon Mundell.
But there’s no doubt Megan has picked a real showstopper of a ballgown with a dramatic lace skirt and gorgeous lace illusion sleeves. Steal her style with this stunning Chelsea dress with soft V-neckline and back, cinched waist and glitter net ball gown skirt from Morilee.
