“We have a variety of different styles for every groom such as suits from the leading Irish menswear designer like Benetti and Vichi,” he says.
“Benetti have a massive range of suits for weddings which we have a lot of in-store, but we can also show them options online to order in so they can try on to make it easy for them, so they don’t have to stress.

“These are the most popular suit collections, alongside our Peaky Blinders range from Cavani which includes tweed suits and baker boy caps.
“The Peaky Blinders collection has proved quite popular, especially with weddings, and grooms seem to really love them – they are quite different and give a cool and rustic feel to your wedding look.”

After opening their doors recently again to the public, JJ Donnelly are happy to welcome back all their wedding parties who missed the in-store shopping experience.
“People are definitely happy to be back suit shopping again, especially for weddings, and I’ve even done virtual appointments for couples during lockdown. But people are so happy to be back and browsing and getting to see the items in person again.
“Couples can make an appointment or call in and we can talk through their ideas of what they’re thinking for their wedding suits and help them decide. Some couples come in knowing they want a Peaky Blinder look, and some come in open to all ideas and we take it from there – it’s all about what they want in the end!

“We talk through all their wants and needs, then arrange a fitting and they can bring in all the groomsmen. We can also do late night appointments as well for people who work a little bit later.
“Then we would bring them back again about six weeks before the wedding and we’ll try everything on and make sure it all fits well and take care of any alterations that need done.”
