For her special day, the socialite and actress wore a white Oscar de la Renta gown with floral motifs, a high neckline and lace detailing. This was likely one of the many outfit changes as Paris was rumored to be wearing 10 wedding dresses!

Paris had earlier revealed on The Tonight Show that there would be ‘lots’ of outfit changes during the three-day celebration. She says: “Lots of dresses. Probably 10. I love outfit changes.”

Paris’ mother Kathy and father Rick were some of the first to arrive to the sprawling venue, with her brother Conrad and aunt Kyle Richards.

We’re throwing it waaay back to season two when Olivia and Alex become the first ever Love Island couple to say ‘I do’ after being the runners up in 2016. The two were fan favourites and after a summer romance in the villa, they got engaged that same year on New Year’s Eve in New York.

The pair had a pretty lavish ceremony in Essex in 2018 with fellow Islander Tina Stinnes as one of the bridesmaids and even got their own TV show ‘Alex and Olivia Said Yes’ on TLC.

Jessica Shears & Dom Lever

Moving on to season three and we have Dom and Jessica who were the next to become Mr and Mrs after coupling up in the villa. They quickly announced their engagement in September 2017 just three months after leaving the show together.

They originally got ‘married’ on Valentine’s day a year later on Good Morning Britain, ironically wearing matching white swimwear as a nudge to their Love Island roots. It was in Mykonos October 2018 that officially tied the knot and just one year later, they welcomed their first child into the world!

Cara De La Hoyde & Nathan Massey

Going back to 2016, second season winners Cara and Nathan have had a pretty wild journey since leaving the Love Island villa. In December 2017 they had their first child, a baby boy called Freddie, but broke up whilst Cara was pregnant.

After the birth of their first child, they soon got back together and announced their engagement in July 2018. They became the third Love Island marriage when they held their wedding in Kent 2019. In 2017 Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt stole our hearts when they came runners up after Camilla’s testing time in the villa. After leaving Love Island, their love stands strong and last year they welcomed their first child into the world together – a baby girl called Nell Sophia Jewitt. They recently announced that they’re engaged!

Tom Walker

If you’re a true Love Island fan, you’ve got to remember the famous Tom Walker from the 2019 show – he’s the one who had the worst day when he was about to head into the hideaway with Irish contestant Maura Higgins before showing off to the lads saying ‘it’ll be interesting to see if she’s all mouth or not’.

Needless to say this didn’t go down well with Maura or any of the Love Island watchers to be frank, but it seems Tom is a new man and has since married his ‘secret’ on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Chloe Rayner, in January of this year.

Olivia Attwood was all loved up with Chris Hughes after leaving the villa back in 2018 and the two even started their own reality TV show, which came to a quick end after their messy breakup.

Olivia is now engaged to footballer Bradley Dack who proposed in October 2019 whilst they were on holiday together in Dubai. The couple are said to have had an on-off relationship, having dated before Olivia went on Love Island in 2017.

Jessica Hayes

Jess Hayes and Max Morley were the first ever winners of Love Island back in 2015. Although the pair broke up after the show, Jess got engaged to her new boyfriend Dan Lawrey in January 2019 after six months of dating. In June 2019, Jess revealed she had a baby boy named Presley James Lawry with her new fiancé.

We all loved Marcel and Gabbie from Love Island 2020 series, but of course this relationship came to a messy soon after they left the villa.

The pair were due to get married in the coming months, but like many other brides and grooms, they’ve had to postpone their big day due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During an appearance on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever!, Sarah explained:

“No plans as of right now. We’ve put all planning on hold. All of my family is mostly on the East Coast, so for them to fly out … and just ages and of course with my health risks, we want to be as safe as possible.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with Access Hollywood, Wells explained that’ve had to press pause on wedding planning. “What’s the point of even trying to get something solidified with everything being so up in the air?” he said, before adding, “If it lasts really really long, I think we could do a small backyard thing.”

While it sucks for the couple to postpone their big day, Sarah says the time they’ve spent together during the pandemic has brought them closer.

“I just appreciate everything even more now. Even tiny things like sitting on the couch and eating chips,” Sarah recently told PEOPLE. “Look, I love to do that all day long, but if you’re doing it with the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, it’s just 10 times better.”

The pair have a super cute ‘how they met’ story. They met in August 2017 during Wells’ gig as a bartender on Bachelor in paradise. The couple exchanged some flirty tweets, before Wells’ slid into Sarah’s DMs and invited her out for tacos – the dream, tbh.

In July 2019, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram, after Wells popped the question during a vacation in Fiji.

Sequel weddings have been commonplace in many different cultural and religious traditions and they involve hosting multiple ceremonies to celebrate your marriage. Instead of one big celebration, sequel weddings involve many events marking your marriage.

The trend is popular with celebrities too. Famous couples like Justin Bieber and Hailee Baldwin, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner, all celebrated their marriage more than once.

Now, however, sequel weddings won’t just be reserved for the rich and famous or people from certain cultural or religious backgrounds. Sequel weddings may be a great option for couples who have found their wedding day has been postponed or cancelled due to Coronavirus.

As restrictions are slowly lifted, they may find they’d like to have a small ceremony now and a big bash later. They might be happy to gather with a few friends and family in their backyard to say those all -important I dos, and plan a big hotel reception with 100 guests six months down the line.

Some couples may choose to have a mini ceremony on their original date and to go ahead with their original wedding plans in 2021. While others are having a zoom ceremony as their families watch via video link and planning a party for later in the year.

As we move out of lockdown, a time when we haven’t been able to see friends and family, it’s likely we’ll want to celebrate with them more than ever, and what better way to do that than marking your wedding across multiple occasions?

How do you have a sequel wedding?

Well there are lots of options open to you. Generally, the idea is to start with a small event, and follow it up with a bigger sequel wedding, so you may like to try some of these as your wedding prequel:

The Zoom wedding:

This is typically a very intimate ceremony – think the couple, the officiant and two or three friends and family depending on what restrictions allow – often held on the original wedding date. Friends and family can be connected via video link so they still get to see you say I Do.

The micro-wedding

This wedding involves less than 20 guests and is set to be another major trend in 2020 and beyond. Micro-weddings are usually super intimate and very relaxed, involving the bride and groom and a handful of friends and family. It’s all about celebrating with the people that matter most.

The backyard bash

Outdoor weddings will become increasingly popular within the next few months, as restrictions are eased and we can meet more people outside. For many couples, the best venue might be their backyard, where they can gather with their nearest and dearest.

Now that you’ve decided on a prequel. Decide what you want your sequel to look like and remember to:

Split your guest lists accordingly

Who do you want at wedding one and wedding two? Will there be a crossover of guests who will be attending both? Make sure everyone knows you’re having two weddings.

Organise your budget 

If you’ve a whole extra budget for another wedding then great, but if you don’t, remember you’ll need to split what you do have across two events. You can keep your prequel wedding a lot cheaper to stretch your funds if you need to.

Choose your attire

Will you be wearing the same dress across both weddings? Or choosing a more expensive gown for the bigger bash? The choice is up to you.

You’re eager to get married

Don’t want to wait? Then don’t. You can always have a small ceremony now and a bigger reception later.

You’re indecisive

Can’t decide on a theme for your wedding? Easy, have two weddings and then you don’t have to choose.

You have a lot of people you need to ‘please’

Perhaps your family don’t share your vision for a wedding. You shouldn’t have to compromise on what you want to please others. Two weddings might be the work around you need.

You’re good with a budget

Rather than doubling your expenses, you now need to split your original budget across two separate events. Make sure you’re able to do that before you proceed.

However you decide to celebrate your marriage is up to you. Sequel weddings can offer you more freedom and multiple opportunities to get together with your loved ones. Why celebrate your marriage once when you can do it twice?

Earlier this week, a fan started a conversation about Chrissy’s shopping habits on Twitter, tweeting “One time I saw you at Barneys and you bought a Celine bag so you wouldn’t feel guilty about asking to use the bathroom. I knew I loved you before but that solidified it.”

According to the Daily Mail, the Queen was surprised that as a divorcee Meghan chose a gown that was quite as white. It’s certainly a very traditional stance if true. 

“The Queen is said to have expressed surprise that Meghan, a divorcee wore quite such a white dress for her wedding.” the paper reported, noting that Meghan’s fashion “boldness” had caused quite a stir at the House of Windsor.

For their big day, Meghan chose a dress designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. The elegant gown featured a boat-neck style neckline and three-quarter length sleeves, and was completed by a dramatic 16ft long veil.

Whether the Queen liked Meghan’s dress or not (and we take this report with a massive grain of salt), now that the couple have dissociated from the Royal Family, Meghan won’t be needing to meet her approval of her fashion choices again anyway.

Emma and Dave announced their engagement back in December 2019 with a post on his Instagram and now it looks like the couple may have officially tied the knot.

After a four month engagement, the much talked about wedding between Nick Jonas, 26, and Priyanka Chopra, 36, took place last weekend in a magnificent three day celebration in Chopra’s home country of India.

Celebrations started on Friday, with the Christian ceremony being officiated by Jonas’ father, a pastor, on Saturday 1st December, and the Hindu ceremony taking place on Sunday 2nd December.

One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. @nickjonas

Mehendi is the application of henna tattoos to a bride’s feet and hands; the couple also took part in Haldi ceremonies, where they were cleansed with turmeric to wash their pasts clean, allowing them to restart together.

Another pre-wedding celebration that took place was the Sangneet (musical evening). Writing on Instagram again, Chopra wrote ‘and what a performance is was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.’

What did they wear?

Chopra and Jonas both wore traditional dress for both ceremonies. Jonas was dressed like royalty, as is customary for a Hindu ceremony, and rode in on an elephant, while Chopra wore a customised Ralph Lauren gown for the Christian ceremony.

Chopra also joked with Vogue saying people will need a vacation after the three-day celebrations!
